It is a project to be started once the construction of the school is finished. Family heads of the community have committed to give some part of their harvest to the school, so that being able to hire three people part-time, buying the appropriate kitchen items and enabling a suitable place for the activity. This will make possible that 150 children could eat while they attend to school. The project is complemented with a space for an orchard of less common healthy products on a large scale to avoid its purchase in the markets. The space for this purpose can be irrigated thanks to the nearby well without much difficulty and the students will also learn in a practical way about the plants and their treatment, leading to a space for themselves that they will be taught to treat with responsibility and respect.
This project would be a claim for school attendance, as well as for teachers, who would save one meal a day assuming a benefit to settle in the community and also dedicate more time to teaching.
